Privacy Policy

How Diagno protects your privacy by design.

Last updated: April 3, 2026

Overview

Diagno is a browser-based hardware diagnostic platform. All tests run entirely in your browser using Web APIs. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted to any server. This is not a policy choice — it is an architectural guarantee. Diagno has no backend server, no database, and no user accounts.

Data We Do Not Collect

Diagno does not collect:

  • Audio recordings from microphone tests
  • Video or images from webcam tests
  • Keyboard input or typing data
  • Hardware specifications or device identifiers
  • Location data, IP addresses, or browsing history
  • Personal information of any kind

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's DevTools Network tab during any test. You will see zero outbound data requests to Diagno servers (because none exist).

Browser Permissions

Some tests request browser permissions (microphone, camera, motion sensors). These permissions are used exclusively for local processing within your browser tab. Data from these APIs never leaves your device. You can revoke permissions at any time through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

Diagno uses the following third-party services that may collect data independently:

  • Google AdSense — Displays advertisements. Google may use cookies and collect data according to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics — Collects anonymous usage statistics (page views, session duration, device type). No personal data is shared. See Google's Privacy Policy.

These services operate under their own privacy policies. Diagno does not control or have access to any data they collect.

Cookies

Diagno itself does not set any cookies. However, third-party services (Google AdSense, Google Analytics) may set cookies in your browser. You can manage or block these cookies through your browser's privacy settings.

Children's Privacy

Diagno does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected, COPPA compliance is inherent in the architecture.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Since Diagno collects no data, changes are unlikely to affect your privacy.
